You're an amazing teacher, Damian! I've got it memorized completely in just a half hour of practicing, now I just need to work on the speed and picking. That whole solo was very daunting at first, but your short video actually broke it down so well, this was such a fast learn. Keep playing and keep teaching, you're quite awesome. And if you haven't listened to the song Nine Lives by the Stray Cats, enjoy that one and possibly make a lesson on that one! Thanks for sharing this!
Excellent. I love the rockabilly thingy and especially Brian Setzer, of which you do a great job! .... yer inspiring me to get some of these rockin' licks under my belt. {I'd love to support your efforts, but I got this thing about learning by ear. :-) ---besides being laid off at the moment! }
@Guitar1hero23I just put tape on the switches becasue I get wild and crazy when I play live, and I get very aggressive, and on this guitar I would always seem to be bumping into the switches and changing the tone in the middle of a song. So with this I solved the problem..
Decendents fuck yeah!!! love your videos man especially this one you really broke it down for the average string plucker more so then in the other ones. This is a good starter one for us beginners then we can move on to your other videos. Thanks alot man
Awesome lesson! Forget the critics. Thanks for your time and effort. Your lessons are really helping me out, I am loving this style of playing. I am still starting out and recently picked up a Godin hollow body guitar to fit the sound and it plays awesome and fit the budget!
Forget the nasties, great lesson! You have no idea what a huge and positive effect you have on us aspiring guitarist. To have access to your lessons is a gift. Keep em coming. I love them. Thanks for taking the time. Best of luck.
Yo Damion, thanks for all the great vids...you not only have a major knowledge of many styles, but it's great to see that rockabilly is where your heart is and you have enough passion to share it with us. I have only playing lead for a few years...but your vids have helped me move forward in my playing by leaps & bounds!...thanx man...
Hey Damian, i order your DVD a coupe of days ago, i can't wait to get it!!
I'm having a little trouble figuring out the quick run near the end of the song (5:05 blues run) Are you using hammer ons? it would be great if can break it down slower, possbly in a video response.
@mirelurk1 Ok dude,I usually just remove comments that are rude,but I hate doing that because it says comment removed,and everyone wonders why it was removed. But your comment is really rediculous. I share a small home with my wife and daughter.There are obviously going to be certain things around the house that are not of my particular interest.Thanks for the comment and have a good day
@Damianblf wow..... after you schooled that Gretsch on how rockabilly should sound all that asshole could muster was a comment about a poster? jeez. Absolutely kick ass playin man.
Quality stuff as always. So when's DVD 2 coming out? I really enjoyed the rhythm chapter in your DVD and it has added a cool dimension to my knowledge bank. Glad your back. Big Jim

mirelurk1 is way to dark to even be a musician, I have never seen such a low level
comment. Let's forgive mirelurk1 for he doesn't know what he is doing.
