man u guys leave the rockdoctor alone my god hes a cool guy ive spent some time with him hes done way more fishing than u guys have and ur sure not making any point my sitting at ur computer trying to make a point he really doesnt care
Listen all I know is I saw you snag more fish in this 4 minute video then any proper rods would in a month.. And BTW your talking to some one who spends 200+ days a year on the water.. My cousin is a CO, and for me it is quite easy to pick up on bad ettiquette. why not record video of fair hooked fish?
2 "foul hookes", both by a kid, ( he's 9, I think), fishing by me. He released them, No reason to get excited, he was doing the best he could. Ease up a little, I don't remember his name, but he seemed like a good kid.
Spending that much time on the water, you would know that foul hooks do happen, especially when the fish are stacked in the holes like cordwood.
As for your cousin.....SO WHAT? I have 2 cops in my family, brother and father, that doesn't make me any better than the next guy.
I never said COPS, I said CO.. as in Conservation Officer. It is always the same deal, No matter where one decides to fish, if he takes interest in someone's noticeably bad ethics, techniques or whatever it may be, there is always the same answer.. Over defensiveness, No possible way of mabey being wrong, and a general "Holier then thou'" attitude.
my.02 cents Have fun snagging in stacked holes.. I'll stick to the challenge of hooking fish fair'
Where are the "bad ethics" in a 9yr old releasing a snagged fish, as he is supposed to do?
Where can you fish for Salmon, in rivers, that don't have the fish stacked in some of the deeper holes? This spot was right beside the Campground, where else was the kid supposed to fish?
In what way am I "Holier than Thou", or "Over Defensive"?
Come on now, you don't even own a fishing rod, do you?
are you guys dumb shits.
its not possible to never snag a fish. k? o-o
in those pools they are everywhere, it is extremely hard to not snag one.
also, i dislike your tuna rod. looks like a snagger to me ;__;
but hey, just my eyes right? 8)

@theonepencil Which one is a "Tuna Rod"? I think I was using a Shimano Comprey, about 7' long, on this trip.

Fuckin snaggers. Learn some proper ettiquette.

I didn't see anyone TRYING to snag fish, but in "real life" it can happen. You would know that if you actually spent any time fishing.
Personally, I prefer "Fly Fishing", seems to be fewer snagged fish that way.

well you can see why they are not called "silvers" in Canada

We call them chrome bars when they are fresh from the ocean. Those ones were up the river about 60 kms.
