Why do you people keep on saying how he sux or that it isnt real. Its real and he doesnt suck. Its the wii remote & nunchuck that are hard to use. Personally ive never done FoF with them but it would seem hard to fret in a circle on the D-pad. Its completely real.FoF is NOT A GH! He made the glovePIE thing so that the wii remote and nunchuck would work with the FoF on PC. Id like to see you people make the program yourself and, if you even got that far, actually play it and see how hard it is.

The buttons are too far apart and there's not enough of them. I wanted it to be laid out similar to a GH controller, too. This was my first time playing this song with these controllers, and my first time completing a song on Medium with them.

No, Frets on Fire is a computer game. I connected my Wii Remote and Nunchuk to the computer and wrote a GlovePIE script to play it with those controls.

I'm sure you could make the Rock Band guitar work in the PC version of Guitar Hero 3 through GlovePIE, if it's not natively supported. Rock Band isn't available on the PC, and cross compatibility on consoles isn't clearcut.

Xbox 360 Guitar Hero controllers work by just selecting it and configuring the controls in FoF. I haven't tried my X360 Rock Band guitar yet in the game, but if it didn't work out of the box, I'm sure I could make it work with a GlovePIE script. I have videos showing FoF played with a Wii Guitar Hero controller with a GlovePIE script.

As long as you can tell which ones are illuminated, you don't have to be able to tell what color they are. When you activate Star Power mode in Guitar Hero games, all the buttons become the same color, but it doesn't through you off, because it's the position, not the color that matters. The contrast is much better in real life than on this highly compressed video.

If you play it with a keyboard or guitar controller as intended, it's really not that hard. It's made difficult by my using with Wii Remote, which doesn't have enough buttons in the right places to make a good substitute for a guitar controller.
