@B0TMA Its kool bro, your right about the three phases, I personally like to train hand first because it leaves little reaction time for your opponent, but you should do all three to feel the difference and see why for yourself, I personally believe in hand before foot or anything else for that matter, hey thanks for the comment bro.
Storm....Sorry.....Like I said it wasn't a bash....I should have asked what JKD style it's from....CONCEPT or OLD SCHOOL (my bad)....Vunak is CONCEPT....I study with the WNG under Sifu Tim Tackett...your technique looks good for the wing chun aspect of JKD...the are three phases of the drill...SLAP THEN HIT, which you showed....SLAP AND HIT AT THE SAME TIME.....THEN, move your hand first. just a few inches, then slap. This way by the time his brain realizes his been POK'd, you've already hit.
This isn't a bashing in anyway....That is NOT how JKD'ers do POK SAU.....you are showing this person something that isn't right....Please explain how the true technique is done....then we can debate how its done.
@B0TMA My partner in the vid was had just started training at that point in the vid so yes he is going to have flaws at first like every one else just starting out, im not the one in the vid doing the pok sau, but as far as this is not how jkd'ers do pok sau? paul vunak and harrinder singh thought my pak sao was just fine, as matter of fact I even asked paul vunak how does my pok sau look when he came up to us and he said good good :)
what is the point in this
