Well we have to remember this is a Ninja world and the least that is covered is the death. Ninjas are surrounded by it when they lived that life in the Ninja era. In-fact we all are everyday its just amplified when you live a life that requires you to commit death and face it daily. Ninjas, Soldiers, Knights you name it all faced it. To me its sad that Naruto doesn't add the true life of a ninja in it or at least with the leaf. With power comes a struggle to maintain that power.
