I've the one for women, i used it when we first met 2 yrs ago, haven't kicked the habit, he likes it. When we fuck i don't wanna end up smelling all so different, so which one goes more with the original one for women? the gentleman or just the men?

true, but the way i see it, IMHO, it's an after party fragrant, it's an encore scene after a theater show, it's the next-morning kinda fragrant; if you close your eyes, you'll smell the after smokey smell of the velvet room, the light lingering smell of yesternight socializing, the smell of the coat after a night of cards at the gentleman club... and that's why, it's called The One GENTLEMAN... :)

I may HATE something that you LOVE, thats's the thing with fragrances, It can be interpreted in many ways. I really liked your review but i have to ask you, i have the 1 Million from PR i love the smell of it. But it is really something for special occasions. A very intense smell, i would call it. So is this a every day perfume unlike the 1 Million ?

Great review. I was just thinking last night how it would be great if there was another frag with a cinnamon apple vibe other than Boss 6. I don't mind if it's not a projection n sillage monster as long as it smells nice and is well done. I'll have to try it, maybe this is it. Thanks man

I went to Macys and asked them for The one sample but one of their reps made me smell this one. I was so confused, I ended up leaving the place because now I dont know if I should go and but The One or the Gentleman Version. I think they are both freaking awesome. I will make my decision this weekend though!

nice review JR. I love the original The One, so I'm definitely gonna give this a try. I smelled a small sample of this in a magazine and I could still smell the very prominent grapefruit, much like the original. Gotta test it on my skin though!

I agree with ya, The One and Gentleman are really different. But I do get a similar tropical/fruity vibe with both. So I guess I understand the relationship.

Big ups! First review I've seen of this fragrance. Gonna have to go down to Sephora and get a sample. Would you say this is as versatile as the original The One? The original (as you've noted before) is good year round which is why it's stayed as one of my favorites.
