Loose the music and it would be peaceful. Bird sounds might be ok if done tactfully and realistic. I do not understand why everyone puts music with water sounds and thunderstorms. I would rather have the real sound so i can feel as if i am actually there again.

It's interesting how some people like the music and others don't. It does seem like the majority prefer "pure" nature audio and video, though, so I have concentrated on that since the early first few nature vids I made like this one..

This was filmed in Bouquet Canyon... there are some pretty nice spots along the canyon bottom, and the stream flows all year round. :-)

This is so beautiful. Did you use blue color accent or colorswap?

I'm not exactly sure how that came out so blue... It was early morning when I shot it, the sky was particularly clear and powder blue, and I think I had the white balance locked-in from a previous shoot so that it unintentionally emphasized the blue end of the scale. I did no post-processing of this footage - it's pretty much the way it came off the camera. =)

I accidently shot in color swap and had some interesting results and nearly drove me nuts trying to figure out why it looked the way it did!ha,ha You get stuck in the same settings and don't experiment with all the different settings.Anyway, that is so nice, use it agais

Gosh, is that water actually blue?

That was an interesting effect - I'm not sure why it looked that way. The water seemed exceedingly clear, and the sky was intense blue. Perhaps a reflection from the water's surface somehow. None of the other video shot that day looked like that. :-)
