  • This version is so much better than the original release, the vocoder vocals the bass lines everything sounds so much better.

  • 100% MUSICA ALEMANA

  • THE first Electro Ever.... Heil germans...

  • pure perfection.

  • this sounded futuristic in 1978 (!!!) - and it still does today

  • The intro sounds like Harmonic 313 "Battlestar". Prichard has clearly been influenced by Kraftwerk, but then again, if you appreciate electronic music you can't avoid being influenced by Kraftwerk.

  • proud 200's like

  • Nihiliste!!!!!!

  • It's about Metropolis?

  • It's like earsex.

  • my favourite song of kraftwerk. Truly legends. They invented electro music!!!!

  • I came.

  • Its FOUR IN THE FUCKING MORNING!

  • @JohnRobertPosey at THE FUKIN Mornin

  • @JohnRobertPosey Same here! it holds every time!!!

  • 6:58. I can never hear that part without getting goosebumps. It's so epic!

  • Thumbs up if you think Florian Schneider should re-join

  • We should sodomize 4 people with a machine

  • SIMPLY THE BEST..

  • Konkrete Poesie!

  • Four people aren't part machine.

  • SUPERB!

  • me gusta esta musica, panama.chiriqui.

  • I'm totes gay, but i still love this tune.

  • unreal.if i become a boxer this is my entrance tune

  • @RudiWeinhold Actually, I take that back, i'm far too gay to be a boxer. lol

  • Does anyone have any idea on the instruments/recording process/effects used?

Any help is highly appreciated! Thanks

  • @aidylennox aidyyyy

I think they're using vocoders on their synths.

    For the voice effect.

And i just think they're using an appegiator for all the notes etc

  • Lepci uz to nemuze bejt!!

  • Úplne top.

  • this song is the best song ever!!

  • This group gave influence without always topping the charts.Their AIR PLAY on radio stations did peak in america in the early 80s but those corporations began paying radio stations and even buying them to push that HAIRBAND garbage. Thanks to the HIP HOP ARTISTS back then for keeping this good music familiar to the ears of many in the U.S. who knew nothing of them because they were'nt on the big demographic better sounding FM radio.

  • i keep on playing it. eddie c.

  • AhLadys & GentlemanI guess Ive found too much whiskey in the jar on a Thanksgiving day.:))

..But I like KRAFTWERK music steel!

  • Comment removed

  • Holy shit goosebumps

  • It's the most powerful music Ive heard. Sometimes it's hard to detect if it is just a techno romantic groove, new musical concept or sounds of simple digits that created the universe.

  • Without kraftwerk rock would not have a friend! Electronic music goes with rock!

  • GRANDI !!!

  • Fussball ist unser leben

  • Nope, they're best in this music... Simply the best! They were one of those who first predicted computer era and robotics... And thats fact! Kraftwerk forever!

  • VERY LITERAL TRANSLATION

''The Body Machine. Half Human, Half object. Half human, Half superior object.''

  • what's Mensch Maschine halb wesn halb über ding??

    pleasssssssssssse

  • i try to translate: Man Machine, half creature half superior object or surplus object

acutally i think the meaning is half human half computer(machine) or kind of human robot

  • Almost any form of commercial or underground music should be paying royalties to Kraftwerk. From New Wave in the 80's to Techno & Trance in the 90's...Hip-Hop, House, Drum & Bass, you name it. Kraftwerk are the forefathers IMO of all sampled/computer generated music, and this track is just captivating every time I hear it.

  • True Man ....True

  • so true

  • @Thr33X Couldnt have said it better myself sir.

  • CSM EL MANSO HIT LA CAGO

  • Jajaja... es buenísimo, en Chile quedó la cagá con este tema, ni siquiera los íbamos a ver, pero igual todos cantando el Machine, Machine... (8)

  • I love how robotic german sounds lol

  • There is an Ultra Rare Verision of this song IN ENGLISH on youtube, it was off the orignal Album!

  • i luv thisssss

  • the intro makes me wonder if Daft Punk got their idea for the beginning of Robot Rock / Oh Yeah from their album Alive from Kraftwerk.

  • actually daft punk is heavily influenced by kraftwerk. it's one of their main "role models" sort of speak

  • ??? i really don't see a correlation, other than it starts out simple and builds on itself- just a very common concept in music

  • Kraftwerk are innovators of that "concept". That's the correlation. Someone has to have done it first, and Kraftwerk WAS the first.

  • lol no way, common musical concepts like that were around centuries before the members of Kraftwerk were even born!

  • Allow me to rephrase it for you. Before Kraftwerk, music was very much organic. You had your band, your singers, etc. Kraftwerk had computers. Don't even recall if they even had samplers when this track was made. The point is that they were amongst the first who made music that was "technical" but still listenable.

  • you're not understanding the what i'm saying- sure, Kraftwerk was inovative in the type of music they made, but we're talking about the musical concept of build-up. we're not talking about equipment, instruments, sounds, etc., we're talking about a concept that has been around for centuries

  • love this song

  • u dunno wat electronica is!

  • Das Mensch-Kaninchen!

  • loool xD

  • The man machine machine machine machine machine machine machine machiiiiiiine maaaaachiiiiiiine!

    Genius.

  • @Perrickan In what way?

  • Pure Genius

  • The Fearless Four sampled this for 'Rockin' It'.

  • Don't forget Jay-Z and Foxy Brown for "Sunshine"!

  • 最高! saikou!

    The best! Refined sound!

  • Sweet

  • yes, for ignorants like some people may know

  • mmm, guess i didn t make myself clear, kraftwerk are pioneers and their music still sounds great nowadays, those who think that a band is embarrasing only because its old just simply don know what theyre talkin about,or maybe just too young, anyway, kraftwerk is awesome and i think their music still sounds pretty actual even in this century.

  • I agree, I'm 19 years old and have enjoyed Kraftwerk since my childhood listening to it with my father, and even nowadays I mostly listen to Death/Black/Progressive Metal and some Hard Trance and Hardstyle, I still love the sound that Kraftwerk has and it still fits even todays standards.

  • @ MagnetiQs

    do you know me?

its just MY opinion ! thats all.

  • Many have their youth imprinted in music. You'll know soon enough.

  • Esta bien chingo el video ademas de que KRAFTWERK son los padres de la musica electronica

  • i love kraftwerk!

    geil!

  • KRAFTWERK RULES! The originator of Electronic/Dance Music, the TRUE PIONEERS!
