u should have drive with body on unless u where brake it in or try to tune it. but for me its traxxas it already fast on factor setting better to be rice then to lean. you should find large area to run it like a big parking lot then u can really cut lost. that what i do i race where i want until the ower or the manager kick me out of the lot' lol.

The muffler has a dual purpose. While it reduces the noise it also acts as a fuel pressure regulator. The design of it only serves to give its trademark sound and thus won't inhibit it's performance from a dent or cause overheating. If it were squashed flat, that would be another matter.
The shape of the Resonator and other tuned pipes is a large factor in its performance. Ever heard of the plugging pulse, the exhaust comes out of the header and lowers in pressure as it enters the middle of the pipe. This creates a vacuum and helps to suck out the burnt fuel/air and bring in fresh air/fuel. When the exhaust hits the opposite cone, the pressure rises again and the exhaust & noise bounces back towards the engine pushing the unburnt fuel/air back in to prevent wasted fuel/air.
will dented pipe problem cause any major problem in the engine?. because i can stand the low performance since i can not drive properly :):) but i don't want my engine to be broken in the future as well. how about , would it make the engine to heat up faster?
