The ZR1 driver didn't wanna fully floor it. He knew a lot of tire spin would've been present if he did..He wanted as much traction as he possibly could. Cause you could hear where he wanted to press on the gas a little lightly when he took off. And you could hear that roar when he did put the peddle to the floor.

700 Horsepower SRT-8 JGC? I think NOT. Stock they made nowhere near 400 to the wheels and they easily trapped 103mph with 700HP? This thing should be trapping like 193kmh with 700 Horse, not 112mph, that's a 150 shot of nitrous to a stock SRT with exhaust to achieve easy low 12's. I've seen guys dynoing 560 to the wheels in the JGC and trapping over 115mph, something is wrong there.

Folks, are you stupid or what? This is just about the worst racing surface you can have! The SRT8 has AWD, no problem for it. Both the ZR1 and the CL65 had big-time traction issues, the ZR1 far more so due to its stiff suspension and manual transmission.

Everyone is so quick to judge the ZR1 driver. He was quite patient with his throttle. 1st wasn't even use able he had to check up twice. The car even broke loose bad into second & had to check up there too. u can hear him lift then apply throttle again. The man was trying guys sheesh. I bet it was freezing cold too, it looks like it everyone in the vid was wearing long sleaves lol. Plus he never warmed the ZR1's tires. U can only do so much when u can't get traction till 70Mph or 113Kph lol.

Stock zr1 driven by someone that actually knows how to drive is 11.0 at 130mph, or at 208km/hr. Hell a bone stock z06 runs 11.2 at the drag strip at 125mph. Type in Ranger z06 here on youtube if you don't believe me.
