  • Why is there a jury in the New York Court of Appeals?

  • YOU'RE AN ABSOLUTE GENIUS!! :D

  • You know lawschool has been made you go insane when you start recreating famous cases with legos.

  • Does anyone actually know the name of the "Jolly Little Fool"? I assume he was insolvent, and it wasn't negligent at the time to be walking around in public with explosives? lol

  • @bobshugah NO, If i recall correctly they were supposedly 2 italian guys on the way to a parade (I believe an Italian-American heritgage parade?) and when the shit hit the fan they bailed.

  • Awesome! Law students who are as nerdy as I am haha!

  • I liked the Ferrari logo on the train, haha.

  • This case never went before a jury, and there is some dispute as to whether the explosion caused the fall, or the stampeding crowd.

Overall, very creative. Good job guys.

  • Business Law test in an hour, great review of this case!

  • lol I have my torts final in two days. This was a great way to relieve some of the stress! Thanks!

  • Pure Brilliance

  • This was highly entertaining, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I wish every case in our casebooks had lego law! lol

  • hahaha I had a good laugh at this... the scales falling on her was the best part by far

  • Not only is this awesome, but I am super impressed with your ability to find time for this in law school. Bravo to you.

And Linven2hit, I think you need to relax, chances are you aren't nearly as amazing as you clearly think you are.

  • and its not funny at all...

  • @liven2hit Yeesh. We created this to entertain and educate. The essentials of the case, i.e. the legal reasoning that made this case famous, are taken verbatim from the wording of the case itself. With any creative project, some artistic license is taken. I can assure you that we read the case over many times and our creative choices were deliberate, in the interest of humor (something that all law students could use a dose of, whether median, below median or above).

  • @liven2hit Obviously this video is meant to be used in conjunction with the actual case reading not as a sole source of information. You talk about "below median" students....i doubt they are as fucking stupid as you are and expect to be able to conduct your learning based solely upon a video made with lego!!

    Fucking tool

You know, it's comments like these that make me hate Youtube. This is an extremely creative way to depict Palsgraf v. LIRR. Clearly, you need to get off your high horse. Furthermore, I find it interesting that you're referring to these individuals as "below median" students when I feel pretty confident that someone who makes such an uneducated comment (such as yourself) cannot be attending a Tier 1 school.

I hope you don't take snide/trivial comments like these to heart, izzy4real.

  • Very funny!

  • i love this.... the story was confusing to me when i read it in class, but now i have a great understanding of it.

  • @DAWNDOLL I'm glad you like it :). I wouldn't take it too literally. We took some artistic license with how the events unfolded.

  • @izzy4reel Oh no, and here I was thinking the Alienabilty of Inalienabilty Rights Act was a real thing :)

  • Funny, but there was definately some liberties taken on the story....

  • hilarious.. but the fact that i find it so.. is why people hate lawyers. :/

  • how long did it take you to put this together?

  • @jerood I wrote the script in a few hours, built the sets in a few hours one day, and me and two friends did all the filming in about six hours on a second day, then we recorded voices for about an hour.

  • kinda dumb

  • That is so inaccurate.

  • thumbs up for long island

  • oh gee! Love it!

  • This is just damn brilliant.

  • Holla at ya Taylors Tort

    CARDOZOOOOOOO 4 Life

  • Hilarious.
