This soapcutter is similar to the one I made a few years ago and I cut a lot of soap on it. My molds are 18 inches long and I built my soapcutter out of metal for that reason. I found your soapcutter online and its a great value! I don't like the plastic molds either, they don't heat up as well as wood. Thanks for sharing your soap cutter!
