  • Very nice... A real shame this didn't get used in the awesome series.

    Favorited.

  • Hey well done MDesigner shame they didn't use it.

  • Hey errbody. Do any of you recognize the station shown in this video, the Minuteman station Jacob and Miranda takes you to after you wake up, as the same (or very similar to) as the one shown at the end of ME1, after choosing who joins the council, when you walk off and then are shown standing in front of a space station and a planet? the planets are identical and the station looks to be partially redesigned, but still retains the basic shape. It seems Cerberus was there at the end of ME1.

  • @ginnoveffect Thats good to know. I checked it and you're right, thanks for sharing! :)

  • @ginnoveffect I noticed this too. Does this mean Cerberus was originally planned to have a larger part in the Mass Effect sequels? Was the station supposed to be meant for another faction / enemy? Or did the developers just put it there to make it look better and/or different to the Renegade version of the ending? :/

  • very good

  • This track is so good that it's almost depressing: consider the fact that it'll never be used.

Not that it would make any difference, but it's a shame that you can't even say anything about what DLC that this track was to be used for.

  • Great work! too bad they didn't use your DLC :( Also someone in the comments mentioned you did work for ME1, what other songs did you do for ME1?

  • My only problem with this song is that it doesn't last long enough. Awesome work.

  • Amazing

  • This sounds like it would fit quite nicely with the Arrival DLC. Considering the screenshots suggest that some of the DLC will take place on a space station, and this song seems to fit a "Space station battle".

  • That part sounds like Blade Runner : 1:00

  • Nice! thank you for sharing it!

  • Funny...I never knew what it was like to have my ears made love to...until I heard this track. What's even better is i have yet to get tired of listening to this track and the Bring Down the Sky track with all of the layer turned on.

  • This. Track. Is. Amazing!

  • Oh wow, Sam Hulick's personal channel? Talk about the best place to find some unreleased ME music. Sounds great, loved the work you did within the Mass Effect series.

  • I want to hear this is in ME3, badly. :o

    Amazing combat tune.

  • let me guess it had something to do with saren or the geth

  • When you are creating music for this game, do you first view scenes/video of the part in question that you are to write for to get a "vibe" or are you told what is wanted thematically? I'm curious how this particular process works.

  • @Pra3dor Hm, good question.. requires an answer longer than what YouTube will allow. :) Ask me on formspring.me / SamHulick

  • @MDesigner I was just wandering, are you restricted on saying what the dlc was until ME3 is been and gone or is it going to be one of lifes secrets.

P.S Your work on ME1 was sensational

  • this is the home of the illusive man, i guess lets blow the shit out of it in Mass effect 3 =-D

  • This is really good work. I would love to have your job! Do you mind if I ask how you got into that line of work? How many composers work on each game? Do you write collectively or work individually? Thanks!

  • Cool song. I've heard the "geth theme" on Mass Effect 1's sound files and this sounds similar. So probably this DLC had to do with geth stuff like others guessed.

  • This is definitely geth or Saren related. The opening riff is found in Legion's theme...maybe a Overlord-like dlc for ME 1 that they then moved over to ME 2 for Overlord?

  • The song screams Cerberus and collector so definitely one of em or both =)

  • That's awesome, very cool.

  • slightly reminds me the new Tron Legacy Trailer music by Daft Punk--Very cool!!!

  • @chikndip Ha ha, was the first though racing through my head too! ;)

  • Cerberus DLC in ME1 that didn't turn out to be I'm guessing.

There was an assignment in ME1 on a Cerberus frigate that was overrun by Rachni where the logs referred to a "general" maybe the DLC mission would of revealed more about him. But I'm guessing the general turned into Illusive Man.

    Things change. Awesome music doesn't.

  • Really nice, thanks for uploading these.

  • This music is to good to be excluded from the Mass Effect games!

  • This is the Cerberus base from Mass Effect 2

  • Beautiful

  • This is awesome.

  • Fantastic. Awesome of you to share.

  • Thank you so much! I love your music! :D

  • Thanks a ton! Fitting picture for the video as well.

  • Thx!
