Jerry WAS indeed very funny and compassionate but very opinionated about what he thought the Bible teaches. If that offends you so be it. He was incredibly passionate about sports and liked to win. I remember a guy on the university b-ball team who was very good but had a problem with getting into constant foul trouble. Jerry jokingly told him, "You get five fouls, make 'em all count".

why did u stop the preaching of Jerry Falwell there? taking a few sentences and interpreting it in an awkard and incorrect way without it's context is such an absurd, unfair and illogical thing to do. This is just to demonise him and promote hatred which is a shame.
