Helen Keller is not part of Deaf Culture and not use ASL because of her blinds and using tactile hands like Deaf Triplets. You don't need to be judge on their parents for not use ASL. I agree with you hottietomalie1 I am hearing, and I just started to learn asl. It's hard for me to understand what she is saying, but I keep trying. Asl is hard work, but it's sooo worth it. =)

Well fuck, looking at people wave their hands around isn't exactly great learning for most. Same as trying to teach a foreign language to a deaf person by speaking it.

take lessons 1st... you cant just expect every language to have english subtitles. u cant expect to walk up 2 any conversation in a random language and understand it... Youtube is not just for english!

I learned that 90% of deaf people dream in color and 50 or 60% of hearing people dream in black & white. At Salk Institute, researchers found that deaf people have better periphereal vision. Average Deaf children of deaf parents scores higher on IQ test than hearing children of the same age. ASL is more advanced than English in some ways. I wonder why they don't lobotomize their ears? If they are angry by my comment, then they have to stop forcing or controlling deaf people.

hello wowfreak. deaf people have difficulty speaking cause they cant hear what they are sayng and many were never taught to speak and most dont! idk if she speaks but she only has a CI (chocular implant) t was given to her through sergery that allows her to detect vibrations not hear so dont expect her to speak! and she may not even know what hearing 100% is so dont start talking if your not sure what your talking about! its called ASL & it is a language American Sign Language! learn about it!
