Every time I hear the this song I get teary eyed because Mai Yamane's voice just melts my soul. Her and Toni Braxton are the only two modern soul singers today that can have that affect on you the listener with their voices alone. I mean their voices are so good it hurts and that says a lot. For those of you who thought Mai Yamane sounded like a man, please allow me to refer you to Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and all the other female Soul, Funk, and Blues singers from a time before blonde hair and Autotuning were all you needed to get radio airplay. The "female" singing voice you hear in modern music is little more than the squeaky warbling of little girls. Having a smoky, sultry voice isn't masculine; it's called "talent", something sorely lacking in today's music.

The technological movement has been a long ongoing transition that was bound to explode.
