Not Rome's worst interview ever, Dennis Quad was much worse. Maybe it's just that actors are not that interesting of interviews.

Rex spoke yesterday at his alma mater, Oberlin College, and actually told the story behind this interview. Apparently he had been sleeping strange hours and was woken up after only three hours of sleep about 30 seconds before this interview occurred. So, basically, we're hearing someone that is sleep deprived. I think that fits with how it sounds.

Honestly, I don't think it was THAT bad...I thnk that Rex just didn't understand the flow/format of the show, so he didn't really know what to expect. He was a bit arrogant, but he was no Alonzo Mourning in my opinion!

Rome set himself up for this weird interview.

Rome is turning into an oddball with this "Rex interview streak".....it's stupid.

He gets a gay actor who probably doesn't give two shits about the show or maybe doesn't even know who Jim Rome is........he obviously doesn't get the" inside joke atmosphere" of this sports show.........

Rome should have done some research on the guy before just having him on for some stupid gimmick.......it backfired.....Rome's lucky this guy wasn't even ruder.
