The Incredible Hulk was an amazing movie to me. The producers realised just how bad the first one was and sat together to give the concept one last shot. It really worked in this movie, and I disagree with everything your saying here. It flows perfectly, I was never bored and the fight scenes were totally BAD ASS!

@UltimateNinjaminato ...no. Marvel needed to make a good Hulk movie to line up with their Avengers project. The 2003 version was such amazing shit that they pretended that it never happened and made a new one to replace it. It's in no way, shape, or form a continuation of the first one...at all. Lets all pretend the 2003 atrocity never fucking happened, and lets go on with our lives. It's just better that way.

I agree Andy, I enjoyed the movie also. Ed Norton is probably an area I do disagree. He's actually perfect in terms of his ability to go from comedic to more main-stream behavior. It's adapted of comics. The pure meaning to the term comic would imply at least a smile some where. Don't get me wrong , I'm a Bana fan also. He was great with Pitt in Troy. I just think Ed Norton was a good replacement, if you where going to do so, for Mr. Bana. Other than that, I agree with you, fun flick.

There is a down side to all these successful Marvel to movie translations if they are going to cross over with each other, and it's called inconsistancies. For example: Most would agree that the X-men series was good. However, one of Hulks main advasaries is the might Jugernaut who like the Abomonation, can go toe to toe with Mr. Green. Now match-up this Hulk against X-men's version of the Jugernaut and we have a rediculous miss-match. This is a problem. Just my thoughts.

Ultimately, there is a problem with all these marvel characters to movie translations. Reason being some are much better than others. Example: most would agree X-men movie series is decent. One of Hulk's advasaries is the mighty Jugernaut who like the Abomonation, can go toe to toe with Mr. Green. However, if this Hulk goes against X-men's Jugernaut, needless to say it won't last long if at all. Just a thought.

I totally disagree. The Hulk was every bit as good as Iron Man. Both were excellent movies. The problem is that the Hulk followed Iron Man too soon. Iron Man was such a massive success and Hulk came out only 6 weeks later while Iron Man was still riding high at the box office.

I never understood why hulk got so famous in the first place. Every story in the comics is just repeatet: The military is after him and some bad guy pisses him off, so he turns into hulk and destroys everything.. Marvel has got much cooler heroes than that. Maybe they need to make hulk movies more like the last X-men movie, which had a lot of surprises and was'nt all that hollywood

cheers mate. I didn't feel i actually ended getting all my points across, since i have had time to think (did the review with hours of seeing the film) and having heard other reviews, hearing the points they made i'm like "oh yeah, thats true" or "yeah that was annoying" such as a certain moment at end of the picture. I might do a Version 2 review after i rewatch but everything in the review was my feeling on the film at the time
