bear in mind that an aircraft like the A320 is coming in at between 130-140+ knots, depending on the variables like weight and windage. Id like to see you land your car at that speed and see how soft it is. i have been flying on planes pretty much all my life from little tiny cessnas to mid-sized private jets to pretty much all the wide bodied passenger jets we have today and I can tell you, that that landing is not even near hard.

It's not one of the worst... in my opinion is a Landing performed as Manual teach! The "sweety" landing, is not the correct one... in case of windshire you have to touchdown "heavy" unless the risk is that the AC could be blown away!!

I see the problem; Flaps were not in full position, only half of flaps were extended. (If plane is landing with no flaps it has a chance of braking the gear when it touches down, so with half of the flaps plane hits ground hard, and has trouble slowing it down).

@go2hellable I just want to clear up that we don't always use full flaps on landing. If the aircraft is light and/or we are too high we will use flaps Position 3 or full. The cause of the hard landing in the video seems to be that the pilots did not flare the aircraft enough.
