i had the same problem but in the beginning ("press any key") you have to use a button of your controler, then it works

now you might have the controler for player 1

just follow the instructions. Copy the "save" folder and the "settings" archive onto your KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 directory. The copy the rest of the patch onto the folder where u have the game installed or dicompressed, end just run the "setup" after copying there the "kitserver" folder. Just read the instructions.
