Gregor, i know you love the Okko, but really you should try and play through other things too because you've got a great touch and that pedal sounds good but make you sound always the same.. I can hear more the Okko than your fingers. It's a pity...
hi.your neck pickup is mounted wrong.please check the website to see the picks, it should be inverted.i have the same guitar and the same WCR`s.the sound is awsome, not so hot as the rest, thanks.
yesterday i seen a few of your videos which were very good, i might add. but i seen this one just now and as a result i had to subscribe to your channel. great playing.
I prefer the sound of alnico II humbuckers over the alnico V's. I like that smoothness. A lot of people love the Peter Green sound, but I find it a bit too-piercing (except when I have to play "All Your Love"). I like the smoother highs and accentuated mids of alnico II's, however, I DON'T like the Gibson Classic 57 p/u's that much. I decided to go with Seymour Duncan SH-55 Seth Lovers, which I think are the best early PAF-type p/u you can buy for $100 each or less. Very-rich-sounding p/u's.
Then again, so does this one, in a very different way. I think I have the same guitar... 1957 Historic, Burstbuckers. Lovely. Very similar to the les paul tone from Knopfler, which is probably a 59 sunburst... what do you think?
Do you like these WRC Pickups better than the David Barfuss one's? I'm actually in the process of trying to see if WRC will consider making a Godwood with a wider pole spacing to accommodate my PRS CE24 with a tremolo so i can pair it with a DarkBurst in the neck, their website says they mostly deal with guitars that have standard size humbuckers, i'm crossing my fingers, lol. Nice Jam Greg!
Thanks for the great work you did here! Looks like a labor of love. Is this an original blues solo, or are you playing along with a recording? If so what is it? Regardless, the guitar and the playing sound excellent. Sweet lick 1:53
Dude! , You forgot to reverse your neck pickup. I own the very same set, the adjustable fillister head screws on the neck pickup should be further from the fretboard of the guitar. Wired normally, your neck would be installed correctly. Peter Green flipped his neck PAF and the internal bar magnet both 180 degrees from normal. Just examine the picture of Brad Whitford of Aerosmith's Les Paul on the WCR website under the Moore/Green ad page.
your lucky to have so many beautiful guitars
