Renagade is right about the bitrate, it won't increase at 1080p so there is actually no point. For the highest possible bitrate select 720p instead since it has the exact same bitrate.
@RenegadeC A simple test would be to put it at 240p and listen for a second, then change it to 360p. The quality between the two is quite noticeable. When you put it to 360p to 1080p there is some added clarity, but it is hard to tell unless you have decent audio, especially with decent headphones.

@RenegadeC Sometimes that is true, but I have seen plenty of videos where the sound does improve as well as the image when selecting 480p and up.
