  • This vid went viral on Kuala Lumpur

  • Looks like hes gonna hypnotize you then eat you up.

  • the bonny bonny banks

  • beautiful loch lomond cover

  • Lovely guitars, but then again, you'd make an orange box sound great

  • Hi,

Could you tell me if the body's larrivee sd-50 is little bit smaller than a standart Dreadnought.

(it seems smaller in the video).

Thank you very much for your answer.

    Juan

  • It's different - see the Larrivee web site for the stats...

  • L series from Larrivee is a little smaller than the Dread, it's a combination of Dreadnought and the OM (orchestra model) shape of guitars, original design of Jean Larrivee ;)

  • Could you do a comparison on L-03 and OM-03? Or just maybe you could kindly reply me. :)

  • I don't have an OM-03 in the shop right now. The L-03 is the most versatile guitar I have played. The OM has a smaller tighter sound, perhaps better for solo finger-style and strumming situations where you want snap instead of thrust. If you want the guitar to jam acoustic with other players, I think the L-03 will handle that better regardless of style. It has better balance than the D-03 yet can still be heard when played along side of dreads. IMPO

  • Thanks for the advice. I am going to get myself the L-03 this week. Too bad I don't live in the states, else I would drop by your shop. Sounds like a lovely place. Oh and keep up the great vids. Cheers, mate.

  • I'd like to buy a 12 frets, 1 3/4" neck, all mahogany, or hog back and sides guitar. I know the Martin 000-15S and some other Martins but I'd like to Know others....Thanks!!

  • that doesn't look like a mahogany back

  • The SD-50 is indeed hog back and sides. The L-03 is sapele although it does look darker than it actually looks in this video for some reason.

  • loomis, what kind of mahogany are you used to?

that looks exactly like 'hog to me.

  • Love the guitar and especially your playing. I learn a lot each time I watch your video's. Thank you Josh.

  • Amazing Josh! Keep up the amazing work!
