It was a late hit...the one called on Nebraska on Saturday was b.s. and everybody in the country knows it. he didnt lead with the helmet, he didnt make contact late, it was clean. Ive dealt with the fact that we lost the game. It doesnt really matter, we will still most likely be in the big 12 championship while you guys arent, but if you honestly think that we didnt get the game taken away from us then you are ignorant

It wasn't necessarily as violent as Osborne's on Saturday (which was still a legal hit, he didn't lead with his head) but it was a hell of a lot later. Watch as #94 takes two steps before he hits Taylor. Osborne took 0 steps from the time Tannehil released the ball to the time he made contact.
@jfowler88 thats before the ncaa and nfl started protecting players so much. if osborne's hit had taken place back then it surely wouldnt have been called. football has become too protective

They have squeezed nuts before and will probably do it again. not only that they think they have the most class of any university. So when you think of Texas A&M, think they are the classiest fans who grab others nuts. they throw horse poo also but we digress. no we dont. Search youtube and you will find ATM throwing horse poo. Its real. no really.
I'm a Husker fan! I love playing @ Texas A&M! Such a tough place to play! Oh yeah I remember this game! But Callahan sucks! Can't wait to play there next year!
I cannot believe this game was almost 3 years ago. Definitely one of the highlights of the Callahan era. Although in typical fashion for that era, the team didn't play a complete game. Some of that had to do with A&M of course, but NU came out looking awesome, shot out to a 21-7 lead and then just played like total garbage virtually the entire second half until the FG block and The Drive.
We'll be good next year, but powerhouse? I don't think we can go that far. Yet. We'll have to play some tough teams, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, and Baylor's probably going to be better than people are expecting. I'm excited, though.

This is absolute BS, I was at this game in the Nebraska section (I am a Nebraska fan). And there was no disrespectful behavior displayed. Most everyone I met was very gracious. this was an awesome drive I remember watching it and in my mind the Purify play was amazing but if you didn't forget Peterson had a great catch on the sideline for a first down on fourth so that was a great play to

I agree. Aggies do suck and the fact Nebraska played very poorly and still won on the road shows how talented Nebraska is and they are only getting better. By the way, A&M cadets are not military personnel. They aren't even subject to the UCMJ.

This was the best Husker moment I've ever experienced in person...
... and it wasn't even at Memorial Stadium. Every cent that I spent that weekend to get to College Station and back was totally worth it.

My brother was at this game...in the A&M student section.
He told me when Mo Purify scored the game winner, that there were some A&M kids who looked like they were ready to bawl their eyes out.
My favorite Husker game from 2006, no doubt. I hope and believe there will be more great memories associated with 2007.
