  • this show must be like a free-runners dream

  • 120 sec.. is to much for them... i think 100 would be appropriate..

  • NEVI MEUWEENBUGAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is why u see parkour is the best in overcoming obstacles :)

  • showing how parkour can beat the crap out of these so call hard courses..great job levi..funny seeing nosole there with his stache lol

  • His flips are as natural as Sora's double jumps in KH :)

  • 1:10 AMERICCACARA!

  • Woah, his theme is from Muv-Luv Alternative's soundtrack! Awesome, does the mean he drew inspiration from MLA??

  • That is Olivia Munn screaming at 3:07

  • this show should be called The Average Asian.

  • @bigpandas That doesnt even make sense.

  • I want to know the address ninja warrior in Japan and I would intend to co-operation in Indonesia please information

  • I want to know the address ninja warrior in Japan and I would intend to co-operation in Indonesia please informasiya

  • wow levi likes ariake's? lol so if u think they arnt good then u must think levi isnt good so ariake's own....

  • its not showing off if you can do it haha

  • His showboating shows just how confident he is, and he backs that up with some amazing skill. If he had failed, I would've faulted him for it, but he knows he will do well, so he has a right to give the crowd a bit of a show.

  • that looked....too easy...

  • I love it when Americans compete in any kind of foreign competition. The swagger pours out their ass.

  • @luchador1764 indeed... haha its hilarious how it is always there( I am american haha )

  • Comment removed

  • @luchador1764 he did well because he's a traceur, not because he's American. A Japanese traceur of equal skill and talent would have done just as well you racist prick.

  • America kara, pro runningu senshu, Levi Myuwenbargu ni jyu nisai!!!!!!

  • Levi did great. Sure, he showboated, but he's talented and that's what he does. He's a freerunner. Some Japs may have taken offense to this, as they are a more humbled culture. Still, Nagano praised him for his speed and making the course his own. Besides, Karma kicked in and took him out of Stage 2. LOL. Karma sucks!

  • lol he be stunting on those japs

  • He may have been showing off, but I met him exactly a week ago, and he was honestly a really nice guy. He was very humble, I was just some dude coming up to him at a jam to say hi and he greeted me as if I were a friend.

I think he just likes to have fun, I can't say it bothers me that he did those flips. Although I was worried he was wasting time at the warped wall xD

    Just my two cents :)

  • cool stuff levi like ur add ins man

  • The flips were to show that he was taking on this challenge and even having fun while doing it with style..... Got to give him credit

  • well i'd rather do a backflip than just fallin on my back lol

  • i love when levi does hiis flips. it shows how strong he is

  • tht looks so fun!

  • i have no problem that he does a flip here and there cuz i can see it as a natural response to something like coming off of an elevated platform. the only one that i was "eh" on was the warped wall cuz that was just weird but other than that, do what you want.

  • its his signature flip. he does it every time.

  • SOOOOO my favorite.

  • Levi is awsome

  • Awesome just awesome

  • Who said american were lazy fatasses? take a look at LEVIIIIII

  • @AsianStyled now show me, that the rest of americans arent lazy fatasses XD

  • @Crisp13 yea we are all lazy fatasses, but you dont have to be in shape to push the nuke button ;)

  • this guy holds the best showing off by the which is awsome nd the fastest time

  • "LEVAIII MEEWENBURRGEH!"

  • Go Levi! America is proud of you!

  • This was his second time on Ninja Warrior. I fell in love with him here ^.^

  • omg why r u complaining that hes a showoff??seriously u dont even know who the guy is... he a pro free runner. that means that flips amd shit r wat he does, so on a "easy" course like that hes gonna have some fun

  • Levi Meeuwen-bahgur!

  • Le Parkour FTW!

  • When I saw this in G4's Showing...I thought he was going to fail. Now he's one of my favorite Ninja Warriors.

  • cool,he was great

  • parkour es lo mejor del mundo

  • the reason y he flips is because its his signature mark or move

  • GO LEVI!!!!!

  • HAHAH NOSOLE is like " WTF..."

  • i prefer david belle more lol :P

  • Levi doesnt flip to show off he's a freerunner he flips for fun he does it here to like make it his style

he's an amazing freerunner and cant wait to try and compete against him and the rest of my buddies on american ninja warrior this year

  • It's pretty crazy that he's not even that built! Yes he's strong, but he looks almost scrawny. Just goes to show that being in amazing physical shape doesn't mean you're strong looking.

  • Levi !

  • His great. But He shouldnt have done those flips. That extra energy could have been used to own everyone else.

  • Stan Smith could probably clear Ninja Warrior.

  • he made that stage his own. it's a shame he hasn't had good luck the past two tournaments, but he'll get there. a guy with his talent has to get to the 4th stage at least once!

  • yes!

  • Levi・・・AISHITERU!!!

  • = I love you

    Right?

  • 3:07 の女テク良さそう!笑

  • If I were capable of doing flips like that, I'd be doing them all the damn time. You only live once. Stop hating on the guy. I'd like to see you people who complain about him being a showoff even try to complete the course let alone do multiple flips during it and still have time to spare.

  • who says he was showing off?

that looked like a save to me; had he not flipped, he'd have hit his head.

  • oh the flip at the end; dude, lots of Ninja Warrior athletes flip.

people are acting like he's the first!

  • when i first saw him on ninja warrior, i thought he was pretty cool but i could have done without the flips... to me it seemed like a stupid thing to do. there are people who know how to do flips and have taken the course and he's the only one that does flips on his run.

  • @Astray71 I find them to be entertaining and it isn't as though they harm his performance. He's skilled and he knows how to entertain.

  • levi had the right to show off on this run. He was great!

  • @redhairmarimo absolutely, especially considering he was the ONLY person to make it into the third stage, and made it very far in the 3rd stage at that, on his FIRST EVER sasuske. great job!

  • @redhairmarimo couldnt have said it better myself

  • i love free running

  • Wish that level could be at my backyard....

  • Best recoveries ever. So what if he flipped a couple times without needing to? He still did it almost perfectly with 21 minutes to spare.

  • seconds**

  • GO LEVI!!!!!!

  • yeah man. i really respect him, hes not a guy that says something like "I'm the best better then shitty David Belle" Also search for "The Beauty of Motion" It's Levi's Slo- mo freerunning video full of awesome flips and more!

  • free runner to the bone

  • You have to understand the mindset he is coming from. Those flips are what he does for a living. Just like second nature to him. He gave a show people would enjoy.

  • Yeah, i do understand... but 3 times was too much. I am a little jealous, i want to be on the show, and i have been trying to flip for a long time. still can't get it

  • ...so you dont like him because he does some awesome flips???

and just because you cant do any flips you decide to be a cry baby about it, and not like Levi?

  • lol, im not being a cry baby about it, i just don't like showoffs

  • oh ok dude I see where your comming from. I agree Levi did show off in this run, but thats just who levi is, but I understand

  • The key is to jump HIGH not FORWARD. Once you can get enough high, you wanna spin your body around your head, not the other way around. I'd recommend training with a professional. And at all times, keep your head down.

  • @supernovamaniac I don't believe thats true, in this season he was on another he was the only one to make it to stage 3 and eerybody there was rooting for him and giing him tips on the obstacles

  • @caponedruid Only one making it to stage 3? Unless you were watching American Ninja Warrior for SASUKE 23, you are talking about SASUKE 20, which was the tournament before this.

The same pattern existed in SASUKE 22. However in 23, he flipped after he cleared the course, which didn't tick off many people.

I don't want America to be seen as assholes in Japan, but that's what happened with this one.

  • @chasiu75 i totally agree he had the right to show off his moves

  • @chasiu75

The only flip that really irked me was the warped wall one. cuz that was just wasting time. Only time you should flip on a course is when u beat stage 1 and 2, thats really it.

  • @chasiu75 Those flips are not true parkour. It was inefficient. He could have won.

  • @TalesIncs you realize that Levi is a professional FREERUNNER. Yes, there is the Traceur aspect but it's about his style. As a freerunner you express yourself through freedom of movement throughout your environment. How he sees the world as a freerunner is different from the perspective of a Traceur. And the Sasuke tournaments draw a whole variety of people of different lifestyles. Don't hate.

  • @spencershortyman I WAS JUST ABOUT TO BANG YOUR MOTHER BUT THEN SHE RAISED HER PRICE TO A DIME SO I WAS LIKE FUCK IT. I BANGED YOUR SISTER INSTEAD.

  • @spencershortyman how the fuck does that make sense you jealous fuck? go TRY freerunning maybe you'll understand instead of sitting on your ass watching this probably eating some fuckan cheeto's. i don't understand people that say in their head " I wish I can do that, lets say I don't and it stupid.."

  • @djbroncoroc Oh, the irony.

  • マジすげーな格好いいよ

    アメリカ強ぇww

  • good show levi

  • LOL at the exhibition. Levi is the man. Best first stage run ever.

  • its so easy for people to judge the success of another...

he did good for himself and the PK community.

    good job bro

  • His overconfidence led to his lack of focus and his downfall in stage two...

He continued t flip in Sasuke 22.

I sense an accident that could halt his career if e's not careful. >:(

He must wait until he beats Sasuke to flip around....

Nagano should be doing fucking breakdances when he pushes the button.

  • I must admit though...

he figuratively RAPED he first stage incredibly hard. He gave the spider walk scars and obliterated the warped wall.

  • imagine xin sarith wuku or jae phan run these obstacles.

  • I don't like him...he's so arrogant...

    he's nothin compare to nagano..!

  • I'm not sure about that. This kind of stuff is all levi does.

  • actually his first was in sasuke 20, not 21

this was his 2nd stime on stage 1

  • no he means first stage, like, the beginning one. not first sasuke.

  • oh lol now i get it XD

  • SO MUCH SPIRAL ENERGY!

  • Levi is without a doubt the best chance of an American winning Ninja Warrior, hell the past Ninja Challenge 'winners' never made it past the first stage, or even past the Jumping Spider if I remeber right

  • I think Levi is very smart. At some point he thought about it and said "Sasuke stage 1 is a freerunner's dream..."

  • you cant do those dumb flips scrub your just pissed because he is in way better shape.

  • lol gotta admit he was a bit showoff but he deserves it, is he the first traceur/freerunner who made it to ninja warrior?

  • No, he's not. For the 21st Sasuke competition, this was the 3rd time G4 has hosted an American Ninja Challenge.

G4's American Ninja Challenge 4 was for Sasuke 22 which has already aired in Japan and will air on G4 in America on June 21st.

  • but my question was, is he the first TRACEUR OR FREERUNNER who made it to ninja warrior. ive seen the others but no one was a traceur/freerunner

  • In that case, he very well could be; but I'm not entirely sure.

  • As it happens, his run is the best of any American competitor, G4 or otherwise.

  • Cant wait to hang out with you again

you better be at Chicago Colossal Jam Levi

this isn't even levi's upload...he'll never get this message =P....but i dont cARE!!

  • Levi Meeuwenberg is a expert at pakour isnt he O.o

  • Comment removed

  • Well videos and facts shows he is good at it, more on the free running side.

  • Hehe, showoff. Great job though.

  • he is actually very humble

  • Comment removed

  • he still is humble.

  • Comment removed

  • meeuwenberg\?? sounds dutch..

if he is tell him hes cool

  • hahahhahaha he even posed by flipping twice! and got first place! XD

  • represent!

  • i wish they had makoto naganos full run on all stages

  • Those flips were totally unnessesary, but cool nevertheless

  • Explain this to me, why is it that Levi gets to come back this year? I thought it was a one time shot at sauske 20

  • Well the Japanese liked him so they brought him back. Pretty cool he is the second to last competitor of the first stage.

  • He got farther then anyone at Sasuke 20, even Nagano. Instant Ninja Warrior All Star. You will see him for at least 10 years.

  • I don't think he's going to 22 :T

  • yes he did go its already been run already just waiting for the 30th of the japaneese broadcast

  • Comment removed

  • not instant...to be an all star u either have to make it to the final one or show a consistent ability to make it to the 3rd stage....hes only been in 2 competitions

  • he is an all-star because in his first ever attempt he went farther then any other contestant even Nagano also he somewhat famous in Japan (but that dosent really matter to much) also his number was 99th in the most recient Ninja Warrior i dont know if it was chance or not but Nagano is always 100th because he won so i dont really know. BUT he is an all-star. they have said it themselves

  • He's considered an AMERICAN All-star.

Nagano is always 100th because he is consistantly one of the top and has successfully finished the course. Levi was 99th because of his amazing run to the 3rd stage.

  • ya you just confirmed what i said

  • He won't be an All-Star yet. Didn't it take Daisuke Nakata 5-6 years to become an All-Star, despite continually making it past stage 1?

  • Um, Nakata isn't an All-Star.

  • What a showoff!! aha That was awesome though. How far did he get this time?

  • He fell on the salmon ladder in stage two.

  • Oh, that sucks, thanks!

  • wow nailed it
