Did you already have that many Grand? I have software (though I'm very new to the stock market) that shows if a stock is overbought or oversold, so I guess I could do this at a lower level (say like with $100 or $1000 if I could afford it) and STILL come out ahead, even if not by as much!

i think he day trading and you cant day trade stocks unless u have 25k but you can day trade the eminis with under 5k

actually you can day trade with whatever amount you wish, only problem is, it has been proved that those that base their strategy on Day Trading make less than those that make theirs on Value & Long term investing. Why is this? Trading commissions eat you alive and the probability of making bad bets increase when you day trade.

heya johnds2001, you may have to be 18 to open a cash account with a broker and 21 to open a margin account. But maybe you can persuade your parents to help you open an account. And i say go for it. Just trade with a little to start with.
