The commentator is from new generation,I think he called Nayyar ji (Deta Hai ) unknowingly as some new comers usually look frustrated on mic.Any how Nayyarji is a legend.we all shud respect him always.

nevermind the fake formalities. nayyar was a great MD but he was after all a man. a very impolite man btw who sweared quite frequently. he would object to being called nayyar only because of his ego and not because he was uncomfortable without formalities. this is not to criticize the great MD or fellow Rafi fan but i'm just speaking the truth in his own ways. it would be inconsistent to care so much for formalities when speaking of OP nayyar. he was a great man but a man nevertheless.

It's such a pleasure watching Rafi Sahaab sing. One can easily see his immense interest, animated expressions and the grasp of the nuances of the lyrics so as to render the words accordingly.

Just for info, this song was from Howrah Bridge (1958) and was picturised on comedian Sunder and Bhanumathi.

The second one, Aaye hain duur Se.. of course is from Tumsa Nahin Dekh, the 1956 flick.

What a rare video! But the guy who has given comments sounds so rude to the legendary O.P. Nayyar with comments like "Nayyar dhyaan detaa hai!". He should say "Nayyar saahab dhaan dete hain.." and that would sound polite and respectful.
