they are very communist. they still want and hold onto power. they want to take taiwan by force. they are totalitarian. they just hide behind a capitalist economy. as long as it does well the people will be placated. dont think the ccp has become everyones' good buddy and we should all join in a group hug. they are as communist as ever. the so called reforms can be a million times more and they will still be communists. the ccp must dissolve itself soon. they are the problem not the answer

dont fool yourself. if that was the case then the ccp would have dissolved itself and allowed free elections. because they dont simply means they want to hold onto power just like commies do. they want to take taiwan by force and end the civil war once and for all. they will not renounce taking it by force. if they were so capitalist and socialist then they would not be totalitarian as they have always been. they would not have put down the students at teinneman sq. the ccp are still communist

@student135 thats a disgrace that nothing by which to feel proud. the ccp are cold blooded bullies thugs and only oppress. they must go. soon. china will never progress democratically until the ccp is dissolved, or destroyed one way or another. there time is running out. they know it but there too arrogant to admit that.

I think overthrowing or revolting against the present gov would be so disruptive to a resurfacing, massive country like China, they would be tossed into decades of anarchy, coups, death and poverty. This is the time to reform and find a stable system within their present society. Hopefully, the mistakes that the rest of the world has made in the last 2 centuries won't be repeated by China now.

@MiXueLe the experts said the same thing about the ussr. it happened once it can happen twice. the ccp is just too stubborn arrogant and paranoid to see the light. they are just lucky the economy has not collapsed yet. but when it falters, then youll see big changes. and i think soon. they are more scared then you think ccp defectors who were in it for 20-30 years know the system is dying and most dont have any loyalty to it. they are holding on by there fingertips. its a matter of time

actually no. if that was to happen then the r.o.c. with u.s. support would be supporting that effort. had the u.s. and the u.s. supported chiang kai sheks project national glory in 1965-66 china would be domocratic now and would be a very large taiwan. the ccp will not ultimately prevail. according to bible prophecy russia and china will go against israel and will be detroyed by the brightness of Jesus' coming. the atheist ccp doesnt believe or acknowledge that. but it will happen.
