  • dayum i have bad luck wasted like 100 bux on motors and pinions . lol what would be a good motor for my vandetta st ?

  • The NEU 1105/1.5y is probably the fastest brushless motor you can get (would recommend lipo). I have a permax 400/4d which is awesome but they no longer make them so they're hard to find. The AMMO 28-35-3900 is also a great motor. Just pay attention to shaft sizes on the motors.

  • hi i have a question on my vandetta st,what kind of pinion do i need i installed a 1/18 micro mamba bl motor im having trouble i tried RR 1620 rc18t 20t .5 mod and 1625 mini lst 25t .5mod. both fit my 2 mm motor shaft good but the problem is it wont grasp the Stock vandetta st spur teeth to small . if you guys can help would be so awsome thanx

  • from what i've heard the mamba micro motors do not work well with vendettas. the stock spur gear is meant to mesh with a 2.3mm motor shaft (like the stock motor). what you can try is putting shrink wrap around the motor shaft so the duratrax pinions can fit on the mamba motor shaft.

  • Dre Dog , nice song , nice video ,

could be running 3s and 1-1/2 power gain ,

3s is all i run on my losi mini t and no problem with diffs .

    nice song again . . !

  • what gearing are you using in those dettas.. seem slow to be a permax..

  • probably 19-45. i may have been using the stock battery or the gears might have been semi-stripped so i couldnt go too fast. i dont remember lol. but yea definitely slow

  • have you thought about getting the NEU motor...

  • maybe once my permax dies on me. i've heard its pretty fast. do the stock pinions work on it or do u need robinson metrics?

  • you have a choice of shaft size... i would get the 3.2mm shaft so you could use the robinson steel metric pinions.

  • Thanks. You can buy the brass at home depot, and if you know how to solder than they're not too hard to make.

  • to prevent it from doing flips just don't hold down the trigger while in mid air (only hold it a little bit if you need to prevent it from nose diving). as far as the allignment, im not sure whats wrong with yours but i would double check the steering trim and make sure the steering links and everything else looks like its not broken or out of place.

and then for the motion issue it could be your remote (forward/reverse switch) or maybe the motor wires were soldered on backwards.

  • how the steering

    on the vendetta

  • pretty good, the steering servo is oversized so it gets the job done

  • cool!!!! Super driving. The bodies are great too.

  • Very nice track and custom body.

  • awesome!

  • tight!
