@kevincease I saw Marshall Sylver in the 80s when he was working nightclubs in San Diego. He would do shtick like make someone believe their car keys were 1000 degrees Fahrenheit, and then they would freak and throw them away and scream and the drunken audience would laugh and buy more drinks. True story. Then he figured out he could get sober people to pay him a lot more money than he was making in nightclubs.
