@XD59X There is no such thing as a posinous Python, Boa, or Colubrid. I have never heard that snakes with triangle heads are posinous.

@toby1996sadgrove Yeah she was great to handle have two other videos called "Jungle Carpet Python" that's just me holding her and letting her explore outside and in my house. Had her since she was itty bitty(no bigger around than a sharpie) and held her at least a couple of times a week and friends would hold her though she was never nippy like the rumors. Even was rock solid calm around my dogs and cats. She was active to hold, constantly moving hands, but never aggressive outside of feeding.

@sylvia00sanity She was a Jungle Carpet Python, not a jag morph, and I got her off of the kingsnake(the website) classified ads from a breeder named Dave McGowen

If I may? Is it difficult to get them (JCP's) feeding on rats?

@BikerRussell She was my first and only JCP and absolutely nothing I tried would get her to take a rat. She had a very good feeding response but none of the tips I found could ever get her to take a rat of any size - I tried immediately following a mouse with a rat, scenting rats with mice(including thawing in the same water with mice and the much more unpleasant 'braining' technique) and more and never got her to so much as strike at one. I gave up and would just give her 2-3 XXL mice

@MultiSnake1983 Thanks, unfortunately I no longer have this snake - I was in an ugly car accident recently and ended up moving half across the country to live with family while recovering and couldn't take my herps so ended up selling her to a breeder. Sucky situation and hope to get back to my state and keepin snakes soon and will definitely be getting another JCP

@yubtubedude Hard to tell from the video especially cause she was in such a small container but she was eating 2-3 of the biggest mice I could find to order at each feeding - never could get her to switch to rats

@Dubstep420yayo Hard to tell with the camera and small container not giving much size reference but those are jumbo mice biggest size I could find anywhere and since I couldn't get her to switch to rats I'd give her 2-3 each feeding

@MrZero761 Thanks, sorry for taking so long to respond - did you ever decide to get one? Pretty awesome snakes favorite I've kept so far, not difficult to upkeep plus not too difficult to tame, gorgeous and actually make a good display instead of spending tons of time hiding.

Beautiful snake man. I want a Irian Jaya Jaguar carpet....i hear there temeperment is a little better and they stay smaller. How does this one act to handling and stuff?

@Kodiak8788 I'm guessin you've found all the answers you've been looking for since you posted this(sorry :/) but I have heard that the Irian Jayas are more placid but not a significant difference; and size depends on lineage and it can be difficult to get a 'pure' animal that fits 'average' without paying a good chunk to get one from a very well known breeder. Also, mine was excellent for handling, kids could hold her and wasn't phased by my dogs/cats - but def. had to watchout if food present.

My Jungle Carpet arrived today via FedEx ( smaller than yours) Black & Yellow beauty.( very similar to yours) He's on "rat pups" /gave him a fuzzy. I put one in late tonight ( he seems most active now) He spent the day in his trees exploring and then sleeping.

Loves to climb. I'm used to Boas. The Jungle Carpet loves it really warm - more than the young boas
