personally, i hated vader's saber color in the dvd releases... PINK saber for darth vader??? what happened there? I have the "un-altered" dvd versions as well and it looks definitely RED.. I see it's still PINK in the Blu Ray release... (sigh)

Ah its really worth getting the 9 disc box set just for the special features and its not that expensive on amazon - you can still preorder for about $80

remember when ...who was it the back street boys or n sync had scenes deleted from episode 2...i think they were jedi, but the backlash was to great so george said fuck it and left the scenes out.
the best change would have been adding some of these deleted scenes in the actual movie!! especially the wampa crashing through the wall, that looked awsome!

Well maybe the reason why George Lucas is making so much changes in all six films, he's trying to reintroduce the saga to a new legion of fans out there. Look at the success of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Attractions at the Disney parks, and the Hasbro Toy Sales. Kids and Young Adults love Star Wars the way they look at it. He's not trying to disrespect all of us, he's just trying to entertain all of us. Our Families, some of them have not seen the saga, understand that. Give it a chance.

@RichardMontalban No apparently they will not be cleaned up or integrated into the films, although I really hope that they will be. There are already rumours that this is to give Lucas the chance to re-release the films with the scenes in. Bear in mind that a rumour that Lucas is again tinkering with the original trilogy, and when Lucasfilm where approached on the subject they neither confirmed or denied. To a lot of fans this is a confirm but who knows? That sandstorm looks sweet!!

The only thing that would make this even more perfect is if it included the original-original trilogy (not the remastered one that was on DVD). I'll buy it regardless, though.
Why the hell haven't they 'wet gated' theses scenes?! Most avid fans have seen most of these before in this quality. Lucas is definitely taking the piss here!
What I do hope is there are more deleted scenes than this trailer and they're not on a different menu on the bluray. Those deleted scenes must have been redone digitally and included in the movies.
I think the deleted scene in Revenge of the Sith, where Yoda lands on Dagobah should be included in the movies itself, its not exactly that long and its quite important

it's called remastering, they use software to enhance and sharpen footage. It's fairly technical I believe :)

What I do hope is there are more deleted scenes than this trailer and they're not on a different menu on the bluray. Those deleted scenes must have been redone digitally and included in the movies.

I think the deleted scene in Revenge of the Sith, where Yoda lands on Dagobah should be included in the movies itself, its not exactly that long and its quite important

Didn't seem tongue in cheek to me. And now you're referring to users who disagree with you as "people" in quotes. I've got a question: do you have to like every single scene and frame of each film to be a "true" Star Wars fan since you obviously know?

@SaberSense I Agree with you im tired of it to seeing people complain about George Lucas & the prequels. They complain about everything star wars has to offer except the original trilogy and they say there "REAL" fans i don't think so i personally know people who grew up on the original trilogy and they like the prequels as well.

@SaberSense Funny thing is that not once have i said anything against the prequels or George in here but only questioned you and others that claim that they are "true fans" and anyone that doesn't like everything about the saga cannot be. Yet you still say i'm not a true fan. Why, because i don't agree with you? If that is the case then using your method of determining what a true fan is then you cannot call yourself a true fan. Maybe once you lose your virginity you won't be so uptight.

@SaberSense I don't really care what you are tired of. I don't like the prequels. Plain and simple. If you like them that's fine with me. It doesn't bother me at all. I prefer the original trilogy (on Blu-ray, not VHS) and find the new trilogy laughably bad. If you don't agree I really don't care.
