I got to see Graham herself, near the end of her performing career, when her company played at the Walnut Theatre in Phila. in the early 60's. I've never forgotten the stunning moment when she puts on the quivering gold wires. Great score by Barber.
I recognize Takako Asakawa as Medea. She's fabulous. She was in the company when I was at the Graham school. I'm glad they list the entire cast at the end.
