If there were no such thing as steroids, the SAME guys and gals would be the champions as they are today. They may be a bit smaller or less developed, but the same never the less. Its not the steroids that MAKE you big...all they do is tell your body "Hey if the intensity and nutrition is there....build more muscle" but ONLY if the intensity and nutrition are there.

@mathiastheok Right, training and nutrition are key. If you put in the dedication these guys do, and stay natural you will not get nearly as big, but you can still get a nice looking physique anyway. Steroids alone do not do the work. Bodybuilders are unfairly lamented for it, because their sport is visual body art, so you can "see" it they way you cannot in other physical pursuits.
