@throwerofturds The vessel ran aground during a storm and broke in half... rear part of vessel, eng. room with wheelhouse and first cargo hold sank and was not salvaged.... thereby reduction of tonnage to be recycled. The grounding happened when the vessel was fully in operation

The actual demol. process took 8 weeks, because she caused some probelms in gettitng up on ther slipway being broken in half...

did you use torches at all .? it looks like it was shears for the majority of the work . what kind of shear do you favor ?
