Played against a strong dark eldar player who beat 5 players in a row

there races were eldar, tau, space marines (close call), necrons and dark eldar.

i went necrons and killed him in 3 turns on first deployment

@TheKhive are necrons really that good? dont you lose if half your people die ect.

if you beat him on the third turn, surely he would rape you by using a webway portal to send hordes of incubi?

@SilverOsprey1 Nope he literally went defensive because i charged into his front lines and did not stop firing at his tanks (high priority) then his commander (second priority) then his troops >:D

We can only hope that they make the points cost of DE a little more realistic in the new codex, cause it was pretty damn hard to beat mech eldar in 1K points or less in the 3rd ed DE codex, since they were so damn cheap.

Moral of the story is don't try to beat a DE archon in CC if you can manage to shoot him b4 he gets there. I had trouble killing archons with genestealers back when I played against them.

my favorite thing about this would have to be the fact that a child is playing :) i think thats wonderful!!! its just nice to have our youth playing the greatest game ever (next to fantasy)

The dark eldar- I've been told are the most powerful race once mastered there isn't anything anyone can do against them...i really dislike them my dark cousins are totally corrupt....Eldar are better lol....but not as scary...

@Sinanthir I run Ravenwing and SpaceWolves armies...Ive dusted EVERY Eldar army ive played(approx 10games) but the new DE codex gave me my 1st and 2nd losses! (2W-2L vs DE;/) Combat Drugs and their high numbers+speed make them completely different opponents then what im used to...oddly enough the semi-nerfed Ravenwing seem to do better than the Supa-Viking SW's...at least against DE...im starting to find holes in that new DE codex tho...at least its SwissCheese ;)

we were at my local game store and the reason we were on the floor is because there was a mega battle that was going on and the "GM" was using all of the tables even though he had an extra one. I said fuck it lets play on the floor and everyone said ok. It is great to play a game once a wk if that and hearing about a mega battle take place at a certain time but secretly start it was earlier thus screwing ppl :D
