I lost my boy back in January and it hurts as much today as it did the day I said goodbye. That's the problem with rotties. They are so very special that it's hard to get over the grief of inevitable loss. I won't go into all his special traits - you already know them but I thank you for posting your video to remind me of the best 11 years of my life.

my boy is 1 now , had him from 8 weeks , sometimes its been hard , eating the carpet was never a fun incident and dealing with him having the squirts at 2 in the morning wasnt nice either ,,,,, but to have those eyes and smile greet you every morning and to have a friend like him is worth it all in the end , love rottweilers , amazing character amazing dog ( does get a bit embarrasing when he chased round fields by jack russels but wouldnt change that either )
I believe Rotties are the most amazing dogs, owned several myself, one of the, whose name was Xanthus died quietly. He was such a wonderful part of my family, he used to take my youngest daughter's toy and wait by the door for her to come home from school so naturally she would chase him for it. It was part of their routine every single day. Yet he would hide behind me afraid of our cat who would annoy him at any opportunity! We loved him very much!

With so much negativity about this breed it is always refreshing to see a video of so many well socialized and trained Rottweilers enjoying their lives with their people. I have had many Rottweiler's and God willing will be able to have some more some day. To me, there is no better breed of dog. Their sense of humor is hard to beat. Every day my dogs make me laugh a little. For that reason, I say that they are good for the soul. Thanks for sharing.

beautiful post.......its sad today because my girlfriend has to have her rotty put down due to old age. Its not doing well at all and it was a very hard decision to make. It is a very loyal dog and was shot while foiling a home invasion years ago. It was awarded the purple cross for bravery. We will miss Zachary......

What a beautiful montage of pictures. We lost Honey our gorgeous girl if 8 years back in May and still miss her every day. Luckily we still have 2 year old Barney and a new Rottie baby of 17 weeks Marnie. You can never replace them as they all have such individual personalities. I had a female until I lost her to Osteosarcoma (about 1 month after my wife left me). My baby girl was so strong and I miss her (Feebee) more than anything. I now know I will only have a Rotty as my dog(s) in the future. Best breed ever!

My baby girl, Feebee, who we rescued from the pound after 2 abuse cases, was the light of my life. Then, if one fail swoop, my wife left me and Feebee got cancer in her right hind a week later. About a month after that, I had to put her down and the following week, my employer shut their doors.
That was 3 years ago. Now, I watch this video with puffed eyes wondering if, and when, I can have the courage to love another Rotty like I loved before. I want no other dog than a Rotty. When????
Rotti`s have been in my life for over 16 years. They were my aunt`s dog`s of course not mine but that is going to change! Come april i will own one of these famous dogs! I agree with the two below best breed out there hands down. Love the video.

Beautiful babies, this just made my night, we got our first rottie ever about a year ago and he's the best thing that's ever happened to me, silly as it sounds, I got him after my first dog passed away after 9 great years, and he's been the best dog I could possibly imagine.
