I am pretty sure this works did it with my MW2 scratched disk and it worked; however, it only works for NON CIRCLE Scratches... Those are deep scratches which would require either a new disk or get it fixed at a local store that fixes scratched disks...

this kinda worked. my battlefield 3 disc had a ring on the outer edge when the console was hit. before when i went to multiplayer it just sat there loading forever then said disc unreadable. the first time i did it i got to the picture of the map and sound of the game. on the 2nd try at washing i got into a game but i didn't have a gun and didn't have any textures of sound effects. eventually got better and better but i think i just might buy a used copy then switch them out and return them
