It is with great care through centuries politicians have learned how to manipulate their constituents. Obama has learned to create crisis and then to move forward his socialist agenda with promises to quell the crisis. Financial crisis led to trillions spent on socialist ideas. Mexican drug border fighting will lead to calls for gun control. He manipulates people into ASKING to be subjigated. Less concerning than this candidate's obvious lack of respect for the American national anthem but still worth noting is the travesty of an attempt to "sing" the national anthem in some ghetto, hip hop fashion. That whole first 1 minute made me want to vomit.

Because Americans do it for years and years, its second nature. We do it because were taught to and we love our country.

By that standard, most people at sports events are unpatriotic - we all stand up, but almost NO ONE puts their hand on their heart. So you say. I don't go to sporting events very often, however the ones I have been to most people that didn't have drinks or food in their hands placed their hand over their hearts. They could have been facing another flag. They also may have overlooked or forgotten about the flag in the background. If they overlooked or forgot that there was a flag in the background they may have been trying to honor the flag code by facing the music.
However they still would have to have their hand over their heart to met code, unless they were in uniform and saluting.

This is my opinion. I believe Barak Obama is a racist. And the only reason PEOPLE are voting for him is because he is black.

Of course we should not trust such a racist to be the US president.

drvltore: I'm not sure that is true. I wouldn't be surprised if the Black Panthers supported Obama, however I would be surprised if Obama accepted the endorsement. Even if he did; Just because someone accepts an endorsement, doesn't mean the endorsement works both ways, though it is suspect. I doubt he would admit it publicly, but there does seem to be some very suspicious behavior.

They are not running for president. If you or they don't know that you're supposed to hold your hand over your heart during the national anthem, it just shows how uneducated and or unpatriotic you are. I knew the code before Obama graduated from elementary school.
