It ironical how the world keeps choosing (more because of nationalities and religions than because of real value or concern for art) between these two legendary icons named Noor Jehan and Lata Mangeshkar, when personally both of them admire each other to the bounds they themselves seem to be unaware of. Thats the reason they are what they are and may such souls be born over and again.
why do some dumb people have to bring out this Indian and pakistani issues and completely ruin things for us... Not just in this video but i've noticed it in many other videos..u have no rights to judge any any art if u r biased on things like nationality or religion... these artists were the gift of god to us and they don't deserve that. i'm not an Indian or a Pakistani but i think both India and Pakistan have better singers than my own country. Music has no country or religion, just enjoy it.

if both the celebrities respected each other and admired each other and remained friends, despite the partition, wars and stupid politics, than shouldnt we take a hint or two from them and live and let live.

Malleka-tarranum noor jehan is no doubt the best singer in music industry (where urdu is speaken) no doubt she rules millions of heart no one matched her style she had vibrant voice that captures ones heart....no singer i repeat no singer can compete her whether lata or asha or anyone...noor jehan is no1 and she will remain...

sachin tendulkar learned from gavaskar, but no one is ignorant enough to say that gavaskar was better.
use some logic, and keep emotion out of it.
