  • What else can I say to this? Not a single person dislikes this as I listen to it today: One of the very best of soundtracks. Brings the part where the impersonator king says: CONTINUE !

  • excelente

  • Die Musik erinnert stark an J. B. Lully und nicht an G. F. Händel, der Jahrzehnte später lebte und wirkte. Die Musik, die hier nachkomponiert wurde, ist aber ganz toll.

  • This tune runs through my head frequently, and I never realized I could find it on youtube, until I started searching for it under soundtracks. This music is magnificent!

  • It's more like the music of Jean-Baptiste de Lully who spent most of his life working in the court of Louis XIV of France, I think.

  • tis is a evergeen

  • best music i ever heard..... sa m donne des envies de pleurer ...

  • this... this is most unbeliveble music, so pure... so clean and true wonder i rarely give anything 10 but this sertanly deserves a golden 10. maestro again!

  • I think the music that played when the queen mother entered was the most touching part of the movie

  • Now that is some elegant music, it sounds very Royal, perfect.

  • Im going to play this song EVERY time i walk into a new room.. It make me feel like im a queen :.D !

  • Heh, I like how this music is really light and fun but because of the, ahem, "certain people" who were wearing iron masks it was creepy at certain intervals.

    "I distinctly saw a mask!"

"Well...Your Majesty, this IS a masked ball."

    ROFLMAO. Bam!

    Thanks for uploading!

  • Lol my dad raised me w/ this music & i basically grew up w/ it.

I just watched this movie today & i have to admit, not only is the movie just, brilliant but the music is wonderful too.

  • My dad actually taught me to waltz to this song. It was soo long ago when I was 6.

  • every time i hear this i keep think im walking though the Gardens of Versi!!!

  • @LUVMEN21 Don't you mean Versailles? ^-^

  • this is the movie after titanic

  • this song has been on my mind since the day i watched the movie 10 years ago. i been looking for it since then. thanx for posting this. i love this song.

  • Yes,indeed. The piece by Haendel that inspired this piece, is calle "Royal Fireworks" and is sumes Menuet I and II. Exelent remake!

  • Love it!

  • Big thanks for sharing this. I have been looking for this song for years ^^

  • Loooove this jam in the movie....Leonardo is just amazing! Great film...

  • Esta cnción es más larga o sólo dura como el video?

  • LOVE this! It's my favourite piece from the whole soundtrack. I worked out all the melodies on my keyboard, It's a fun song to play.

Someday when I'm rich (and I WILL be) I'll throw a masked ball at my huge mansion and play this hehe.

  • thanks a lot for uploading this! I was searching this song is so beautiful!!

  • Great movie.

  • @Gera0988 solo tienes q leer el nombre del video, se llama "the masked ball" y la puedes descargar directamente desde ares =)

  • soo beautiful (: this movie is amazing.

  • Which Melodie of Handel is this

  • this will sound SO stupid.

But this kind of music makes me wish I was at the ball. All dressed up a princess with the hair and everything. *sigh* the longing of a fairytale life, lol :D

But really, tjis music SOUNDS like somthing that could have been from that time. beautiful, just beautiful :D

  • well then we are both stupid, because i was thinking the same thing :)

  • If the music has that effect, it means that it s a good one. Nick Glennie-Smith certainly did a good work.

  • @popze Think iot would be fun to be royalty, hmmm? All fun and games, a fairytale life? Watch "The madness of King Goerge", to see what it's really liike.

  • OH GOD! This is ROYALITY! MAJESTIC, and ELEGANT! I now want to learn how to dance as they do, and dress-up for a ball such as this, and dance with Nobles and Dutchess!

  • His most famous work, the oratorio Messiah with its "Hallelujah" chorus, is among the most popular works in choral music and has become a centrepiece of the Christmas season. Handel introduced various previously uncommon musical instruments in his works: the viola d'amore and violetta marina (Orlando), the lute (Ode for St. Cecilia's Day), three trombones (Saul), ...............

  • clarinets or small high cornets (Tamerlano), theorbo, horn (Water Music), lyrichord, double bassoon, viola da gamba, bell chimes, positive organ, and harp (Giulio Cesare, Alexander's Feast).

  • @Mirdala Great comment.

  • beautiful tones:)

  • The Composer is Nick Glennie-Smith. He composed it to resemble the sound of George Frideric Handel.

  • Ahhh Handel.....Baroque composer, He is commemorated as a musician in the Calendar of Saints of the Lutheran Church on July 28, with Johann Sebastian Bach and Heinrich Schütz..

Handel's compositions include 42 operas, 29 oratorios, more than 120 cantatas, trios and duets, numerous arias, chamber music, a large number of ecumenical pieces, odes and serenatas, and 16 organ concerti.

  • @Randomnoobi and did a very good job at that

  • @Randomnoobi

Incredibly beautiful song !!! My greatest respects and admiration to Nick Glennie-Smith. I bought the song in Amazon, but it is only 30 seconds long. Here is 3:29 minutes. Can someone help me understand why? Where can I buy the 3:29 minutes version? THANKS !!!!

  • very majestic !!! and extereme Royal touch to the sound , on the whole a master piece !!!!!!
