I had a 91 RS about 14 years ago - my first car, 5.0L TBI...slower than sloth shit. But I loved it until Camaros went the way of the guido...or, when i realized it. Nice shots of the interior, was cool to see that tach/speedo one more time. I hadn't seen the inside of one since I sold mine. You gotta do something about that stock shifter tho - but I have to admit, it looks pretty good.

I fabricated brackets and suspension on the car. I only spent money on purchasing the bags and lines tank, and compressors. I spent a total of $600.00
if you are mechanically incline, you can do this in NO time.... All I had to do was change the fuel pump, install the new engine and wiring harness, connect all sensors and new computer, and that was it... not hard at all.

Car looks sweet dude. Just one thing i'm a little confused about. How come in some pics the driver's side door handle is shaved but in other pics it's still there?
The reason you see door handle in some pictures and then you don't is because I finished the car looking all original. then I decided to remove the door handles, so I did and that's how it is now. No door handles..
What it too difficult to paint it yourself? Mines getting reshot this week, the paint before after like 2 years chips and flakes off so easy I had to get it repainted. If this new paint doesn't hold up I'm gonna see about painting it myself.

Is it true you have to do all sorts of programing and whatnot for an Lt-1? I almost got suckered into buying one, but I went with the L98 instead. Its got 160k miles on it and still runs like new.

Dude, the car is TOO NICE, You did alot of work that paid off for you. I just bought a 1990 Iroc. It has the original 305 that im thinking about taking out and putting a LT1 or a LS1 if I can get it to fit(what ya think)? Also the interior gotta go. Where did you get your seats? That piping for your intake it tight as well. I would really appreciate all the tip's you can give me. When im done lets swap pic's.
The LT-1 is a perfect fit for these camaros no dodifications needed to the engine compartment. Ls1 will also fit but you need to do a lot of modifications to make it sit in the car. the seats are from a 97 camro or c5 corvette seats will fit as well.

Vette engine install (LT-1 or LS1)

if you are mechanically incline, you can do this in NO time.... All I had to do was change the fuel pump, install the new engine and wiring harness, connect all sensors and new computer, and that was it... not hard at all.

The reason you see door handle in some pictures and then you don't is because I finished the car looking all original. then I decided to remove the door handles, so I did and that's how it is now. No door handles..

What it too difficult to paint it yourself? Mines getting reshot this week, the paint before after like 2 years chips and flakes off so easy I had to get it repainted. If this new paint doesn't hold up I'm gonna see about painting it myself.

nice work guys. that thing turned out beautiful. are those the 20" iroc's? the air ride kit makes that thing look sweet. goes to show ya what a little elbow grease can do keep up the good work. besides there isnt a better car out there to work on.

Is it true you have to do all sorts of programing and whatnot for an Lt-1? I almost got suckered into buying one, but I went with the L98 instead. Its got 160k miles on it and still runs like new.

Dude, the car is TOO NICE, You did alot of work that paid off for you. I just bought a 1990 Iroc. It has the original 305 that im thinking about taking out and putting a LT1 or a LS1 if I can get it to fit(what ya think)? Also the interior gotta go. Where did you get your seats? That piping for your intake it tight as well. I would really appreciate all the tip's you can give me. When im done lets swap pic's.

The LT-1 is a perfect fit for these camaros no dodifications needed to the engine compartment. Ls1 will also fit but you need to do a lot of modifications to make it sit in the car. the seats are from a 97 camro or c5 corvette seats will fit as well.

@dirtyred324 An ls1 or lt1 will fit the same... they are all v8's... If you are going to swap, put an ls1 in. Ls1's are better than the lt1.
