@snakebite5000 Teenagers in general are more likely to commit suicide than anyone else, especially gays. Not everyone who opposes homosexuality is religious. You can't blame ex-gay ministries for trying, and on the contrary to what you said, ministries, including ex-gay ministries help many people. You don't hear about the people who get helped, the only thing you hear about are the people who went crazy or whatever, because people love hearing about that kind of stuff.

Im a christian , and theres only 2 passages that distinctly touches upon homosexuality as being wrong. The message i think most christians have forgotten is to hate the sin but not the sinner. I'm one of the wounded people that left. & I'm not considering going back. I saw a gay transgendered person (who I invited to church to HELP the church) thrown out & BEFORE he was thrown out he was told to go work in the kitchen o.O I left not long after that. & this is what happens in the MAJORITY of churches not the minority. so if this is what the MAJORITY thinks something is wrong with the whole church system. Let's not start a flame war though this is just MY point of view and experiences.

THIS is partially the reason I have pretty much stopped believing the church. I'm PROUD to say I'm washed clean by the blood of Jesus, but the way the church treats people... Unacceptable. They discriminate against gays, lesbians, so-called "emos" and "goths", and most of all they discriminate against music.
