I'm from the USA and I dj as well. I love actual Dubstep (i.e. this) as well as brostep. Yeah, they are two different things. Brostep is a mix of Dubstep and metal/hardcore and not as "pure" as Dubstep, but it can still be fun! Gotta give all music a chance, and if you don't like it spend your time looking for new music, not hating on other music.

anyone else agree that skream and benga's sets at ultra in 2010 were better individually than the 2011 set when they played tear-out brostep together?
@pottersuperfan1@coheadam I agree 2010 sets were way better. Lot more true to Benga and Skream's original sounds. 2011 they just reeled out as much brostep as possible.
DubstepFan is actually right though, playing two songs on top of each other is not difficult, actually making the songs, however, takes loooooots of skill and time.
Love these guys. So true to their characters ALL the time. Big tunes from them both. Quality live. Radio1 with them is the best. Busy festival season for them both. They have it nailed.
@DubstepFan4Life Actually you have to find two songs that can "fit" together to keep the flow going, not only is this hard but some of the drops aren't that great so you have to tweak it DURING a show. If you fuck up, you can ruin the whole mix and jeopardize the entire concert. Also skeam isn't just a dj, hes a producer too. Get your facts straight since your a "fan". Bitch.

@DubstepFan4Life Actually you have to find two songs that can "fit" together to keep the flow going, not only is this hard but some of the drops aren't that great so you have to tweak it DURING a show. If you fuck up, you can ruin the whole mix and jeopardize the entire concert. Also skeam isn't just a dj, hes a producer too. Get your facts straight since your a "fan". Bitch.
