  • wow... awesome ....

  • please tell me that isn't black henna! It's toxic.

  • i dont think it is, at 3:17 its coming out dark brown, henna can range from green to red to brown depending on where its from. to get it darker my indian friends add black tea to the mix

  • he is excellent

  • i bet he loves his job, being an artist and getting to hold pretty girls hand, lol.

  • Can anyone tell me what the song is, please? Thanks for the help! :)

  • I have mine done, but just not as good as his work. Bit disappointed.

  • is that ur dog?

  • thats a beautiful design

  • god bless him!

  • Very beautiful henna/mehendi art !! i love indian mehendi, in 1 word:gorgeous! And I agree with the ppl saying that what they earn is little. When I went to Pakistan I put mehendi and they just asked for both hands and both sides : 200 rupees! I was like WOW! SO beautiful n SO cheap! Amazing! It's in the Netherlands like €2,- I think we should give them much more. I mean if u put henna here anywhere u have to pay surely €150 for one hand both sides.. if it's not that full overall ur hand!

  • awesome art..what tune is this??

  • chandigarh is my birthplace...nice to c vid..

    thx

  • Hi, i wanted to ask you something. I've almost seen all mehendi/ henna arts, but in few video's i see that their hands are kinda greasy, i mean like they lubricated it with oil... u can see that here too (7:47).. Do you know why they do that before putting henna/ mehendi? because pplz used to tell me that u have to lubricate it with oil when you washed your mehendi! is it better before putting henna/ mehendi or is it better before lubricating your hands with oil? please reply me soon, thanks!

  • the oil to remove mehendi and oil used to get better stain is different,. the oil use here is to prevent drying n get better stain. for example henna oil or eucalyptus oil.

  • How much do they charge you in the streets of India for that work? Just being nosey

  • well in chandigarh..dey charge about 40 to 60 rupees for 1 hand(both sides)

  • tht is cheap isnt it??.. wel it is i think...according to the exchange rate.40 to 60 rupees is.like less than AU$2. I cant wait till i get to go to India, mayb after i finish uni.....

  • Thats about $1.20.

That stinks, so much hard work and what they earn is so little.

Is 40- 60 rupees a lot in India?

  • that was a gel that makes henna look darker ...its kinda like oil .....i kno that cuz my cuzine has all of these things

  • Nice...

I suggest you to upload this video in 'Dynamycdesi'.It is a online talent contest site for people.

  • hii wat did he put on her thumb before he put the last bit of henna on?

  • what does she have on her hand that makes her hand shine?

  • probably eucaloptus oil, we put that to make it darker

  • Wow he is so good at it! MashaAllah! What song is this? something from Budha Bar? For the mehndi mix, adding lemon juice improves colour as it encourages "dye release". If you mix your henna in warm water, and use it after like half and hour, the colour will be nicer :)

  • lol she looks like thats the last place she wants to be right now.

  • Actually she really enjoyed it, we had been there a long while before I started filming.

  • Good Henna Artist.....the flow of the mendi creating the pattern....very artistic.....

  • omg that is amazin id love to do that 1 day

im kinda good a t henna art

  • May I ask you how did you learn? I am just starting and I am still dealing with finding the correct mixture that leaves a great stain. Any tips?

  • I'm just behind the camera, the man in the video is a local in the area. From what I can remember he has been doing this for a long time and is obviously very good. When I visit again I will ask.

  • wow its soo beautiful and great job he done

  • what is the name of the music? i love the video

  • its made up of so many simple elements organised is such a beautiful way, its the organisation of the detail thats hard to do!

  • great work, what does he put on skin before applying henna?

  • I think it's mustard oil

  • oil would prevent the henna to stain, I'd rather think it's eucalyptus essential oil. Some artists use it directly on skin, but I suggest not to put it on the skin undiluited, it could cause allergy to delicate skin, just put a few drops on the henna paste!

  • i use a mix of Lemon Juice and sugar either before or after the henna work... it helps keep it from cracking and falling off the skin before you need to take it off at least 4 hours later. i think that might have been what he used or at least the concept... i was wondering myself.

  • man he did he very good job and fast

  • this looks really awsome~!

  • he did a good job
