8. O gij gelovigen, wendt u tot Allah in oprecht berouw. Het kan zijn dat uw Heer uw fouten van u zal verwijderen en u in tuinen toelaten waar doorheen rivieren stromen, op de Dag waarop Allah de profeet alsmede de gelovigen niet zal vernederen. Hun licht zal vََr hen en van hun rechter handen uitgaan. Zij zullen zeggen: "Onze Heer, volmaak ons licht voor ons en vergeef ons; want Gij hebt macht over alle dingen."
