Of all the ancient, shitty games they're resurrecting these days (Splatterhouse, Bionic Commando, etc, etc.) why can't they make an update of Primal Rage? Because, they thought it wouldn't sell well since you fought as humans controlled by the Gods rather than the gods themselves because the gods were imprisoned by the evil Necrosan, a living Dragon Skeleton. there is a toy of him that was released late in the PR Toyline's production. Also another character called Slashfang, also made it to the toyline. I have Slashfang. There was a novel made based on the story of what the sequel would be. It is called Primal Rage: The Avatars.

In the game's plot, humanity is enslaved by the dinosaurs or gods... what ever they are... And thus they're worshiping them. You can also eat them when they come to the front to gain health. There's a bonus stage right before the last one where you have to eat people to enlarge your life bar to double so you'd have a chance in beating the last stage... it's HARD.
