Geez -- Overall, this is a LOT of extarneous improbable corny spectacle-mongering only made tolerable by a potpouri hodgepodge of fascinatingly intricate historical details. I think they could have done one HELLUVA more engaging, interesting program. I'd give 'em a 4 out of 10 for effort, 3 for creativity just because I've endured an hour-and-half of this thing. NOT one of Natl. Geo;s best.
If I had a choice to fly or sail from NY to Southampton, I'd take the latter. That truly must have been a spectacle. Its a shame we can't do that anymore...
uh WOW that is UGLY. 100 years ago technology in luxury is garbage in today's standards. OLD PEOPLE furniture (the carpet also looks filthy), crappy gym technology, inefficient and ugly lightbulbs (LEDs are far more beautiful), i can go on. even the food was so bad for you. super high in fat. what an awful time to have grown up. it's great to be alive today when we have far better quality of life, medical care, amenities, AND prices are so much more affordable comparatively.
We was in the club joint doing the same ol' two step. Gorilla unit cause they say we bugged out. Cause we don't go nowhere without toast. na wat im saying niggas. da fuck ya dig
im building a model titanic.. im still installing the tiny lights in the hull but i cant wait till its finised.. it came with a tiny usb port and wires to connect the lights and i dont know how to work it tho..
I thought I had manufacturing skills. I now have EXTREME respect and gratitude for the hard workers of construction. I cannot hold a candle to these people who build.
Oh... I used to think I could do it... But not I know there is NO WAY I could keep up. Just wow. WOW. I had to put on a fedora so I could tip it to them.
@NoahLDiamond Ha ha, no doubt. I took a little traditional metal work class. It was great fun for a few afternoons a week but to do it for a living. NO WAY. lol I was exhausted after a 2.5 hr class & that was at a much slower pace than actually working. I couldn't imagine doing it all day, every day for a living with a boss yelling about productivity.
I would love to go and scoop the RMS Titanic up off the ocean bottom. Bow, Stern, double bottom segments, and all. Preservative her Clean her up. Dismantle her carefully, and reverently. Refine her each and individual pieces of shell plating, and skeletal structure. Make new plate, and skeletal structure. Re-cast each and every single above mentioned piece. Rebuild the ship brand new, Hull, Smoke Stacks, Masts, interior and all.
@evilwarcow That idea came across many people. But Doing so would be like digging up a cemetery. It's just one of those things you just can't disturb other than gaze upon it's beauty. So just leaving where it is will be enough. .

If i had billions of dolars. I would rebuild every inch of titanic everything boilers decks and even
the three bronze propellers not just tiny bits and pieces of it.
