  • Alexander II was highly respected here in Finland. We were then an autonomical part of Russia. He has still today a statue in our capitol Helsinki. The governor Bobrikov under Nicholas II was angry when that statue was honoured because the autonomy was shivering during the tsar Nicholas II.
