I think the panel didn't do their homework on this company. Had they done that, they would realize that AS's model is to take brand needs and find apps that have content that is contextually relevant. The ad doesn't distract from the app - it is typically branded, and ties in directly to the context of the app. This isn't traditional banner ads and old school monetization for app developers. There are cheap CPM ad networks for that.
